I am a migraine suffer and have been since I was 19. In the past year, my migraines have decreased significantly, but they haven’t disappeared. I still get them, but they happen less often and aren’t as intense. Unfortunately, I finally got one that put me in the hospital. Not fun, not fun at all! I am home now and feeling much better. This one last 2 days and I was vomiting. It was so bad that my mother drove to my house, got me in the car and drove me to the ER. I am not happy to have been in the ER, but I needed medicine to stop the pain. I owe my mom big time!
So I will get some rest and hit the books hard again this weekend. I had two big events planned this weekend, but one will have to suffer. I need to get better and catch up on the two days of studying I missed. I am still going to take REG on 4/15. I am very determined to stay on track for this test.
I must say, this experience has taught me the importance of a strong support system. I have my boyfriend to remind me to eat, take breaks, and get my sleep. My parents have been great pillar of strength, determination and focus. My friends and other family are always there to pick me back up when I feel like a total failure. No one should take this exam alone. It takes a group to battle this long process. Every battle, every defeat, and every success deserves a proper celebration.
